Ok, so that's just what it looks like. It really is the wooden aftermath of the ice storm we had just prior to leaving for Texas.
We piled all of limbs and sticks pulled from our yard, driveway, and roof and piled on the side of the road. Our entire town looks like this. It looks like everyone is fortifying their yards. It is hard to tell from the pic but the pile is about 6 ft tall at its highest and is a good 35-40 ft long.
Let's just say that I wasn't prepared for this much of an ice storm. Below is a picture of the storm damage right after it happened. (I was planning on adding more but the placement is driving me crazy, so....)
Looks as if some Orks just romped past it!
ReplyDeleteThat's a crazy ice storm, man. It does look pretty cool, though. I wonder if this kind of fortification would be easy to make with broken trees, etc.?
